Sunny has been working with Sunny The Lip and Sunny Reed as the Intergalactic Horns. The ship landing at Pleasant Valley Brewing was a gas. Look for more from the Intergalactic Horns in the future.

Sunny Lowdown Back From Austin

Happy New Year to our lowdown fans. Sunny’s back from a trip down to Austin, Texas, where he was working with his good friend, blues/gospel singer Danny Brooks. Look for him to ramp up his New England appearances over the coming weeks.

Sunny Lowdown plays so low in July

Sunny’s doing a number of solo and acoustic gigs this month. Sunday, 7/10 at The Elliott St. Cafe in Brattleboro, Sunny does the 11 AM to 1 PM shift playing acoustic blues. Friday, 7/15, catch Sunny in Pliny Park in downtown Brattleboro at 6 PM for a solo gig on electric and acoustic guitar, and then Saturday, 7/16 Sunny plays acoustic at the Farmers Market in West Brattleboro at 11 AM, accompanied by Sunny Bottom on mandolin and lap steel. To cap off the month on 7/29, the full Sunny Lowdown band takes over Pleasant Valley Brewing in Saxtons River, VT at 8 PM.

PKs was packed this past Friday. Sunny The Lip sat in on trumpet and harp, blew the house down for a bit, and Pete from Little Orphans Cajun Express dropped in for a listen. Be sure to check out the Cajun Express opening for Buckwheat Zydeco on Feb. 10 at the Bellows Falls Opera House. A great double bill. Thanks to all for coming down.
